How do I set my brand voice?

Why brand voice matters

Default AI output is generic and "corporate". A trained brand voice profile makes the AI sound like you — your sentence rhythm, vocabulary, level of formality, even your favorite metaphors.

How to train

  1. Visit /account/brand-voice/.
  2. Click Create new profile. Name it (e.g. "Marketing email voice", "LinkedIn thought leadership").
  3. Paste 3–10 samples of your existing writing. Best results: 200–800 words each, varied (newsletter, blog post, social caption).
  4. Click Train. The AI extracts:
  • Tone (formal/casual/playful/authoritative)
  • Sentence length distribution
  • Common phrases / vocabulary
  • Punctuation patterns (em-dashes? Oxford comma? exclamation points?)
  1. Review the voice fingerprint card that's generated — confirm it sounds like you.
  2. Mark one profile as default to apply automatically.

Using brand voice in tools

Any tool with a Brand Voice dropdown (Blog Post Generator, Email Generator, Social Post Generator, etc.) will list your trained profiles. Pick one and the prompt is augmented before send.

Pro tier limit

Free: 0 brand voice profiles. Pro: up to 5. Agency: unlimited.

Refining a profile

If the output drifts off-brand, click Add more samples on that profile. 3 more samples typically tightens the fingerprint significantly.
