How does annual billing work?

The math

• Pro monthly: $19 × 12 = $228/year.
• Pro annual: $190/year.
• Savings: $38 (~17% off, or 2 months free).

Same discount applies to all paid tiers.

How to switch from monthly to annual

1. /account/subscription/ → Switch to annual.
2. We pro-rate your remaining monthly credit toward the annual.
3. New annual term starts immediately.

Cancellation on annual

Flexible: if you cancel mid-year, you keep access until the end of the year. If you cancel within 14 days of starting annual, full refund. Beyond 14 days, we don't refund partial annuals automatically (because the discount was applied upfront), but contact support — we usually credit on a case-by-case basis for hardship situations (job loss, etc.).

Annual + tier change mid-term

• Upgrade mid-year: prorated charge for the difference, applied to the rest of the year.
• Downgrade mid-year: lower tier kicks in at next renewal; no refund of the year's annual.

Why annual is the better deal

• 17% savings.
• Locks in current pricing — if we raise prices, your annual is unaffected for 12 months.
• Less billing friction (one charge, no card-update reminders).
